Couple of days in my mind has filled again the idea of archons and how they manipulate this simulation. Are they real? What are they? What are they doing and why?
Gnosticism is infamous for its conception of the cosmos as the creation of the satanic Demiurge. But along with this entity is a retinue of demonic cosmic powers or Archons that act as co-creators and wardens of this prison universe. Join me as I explore the origins, nature and function of the Archons. On account of the reality of the authorities, (inspired) by the spirit of the father of truth, the great apostle – referring to the “authorities of the darkness” – told us that “our contest is not against flesh and blood; rather, the authorities of the universe and the spirits of wickedness.” I have sent this (to you) because you inquire about the reality of the authorities.
Their chief is blind; because of his power and his ignorance and his arrogance he said, with his power, “It is I who am God; there is none apart from me.”
When he said this, he sinned against the entirety. And this speech got up to incorruptibility; then there was a voice that came forth from incorruptibility, saying, “You are mistaken, Samael” – which is, “god of the blind.”
His thoughts became blind. And, having expelled his power – that is, the blasphemy he had spoken – he pursued it down to chaos and the abyss, his mother, at the instigation of Pistis Sophia. And she established each of his offspring in conformity with its power – after the pattern of the realms that are above, for by starting from the invisible world the visible world was invented.
As incorruptibility looked down into the region of the waters, her image appeared in the waters; and the authorities of the darkness became enamored of her. But they could not lay hold of that image, which had appeared to them in the waters, because of their weakness – since beings that merely possess a soul cannot lay hold of those that possess a spirit – for they were from below, while it was from above.
This is the reason why “incorruptibility looked down into the region (etc.)”: so that, by the father’s will, she might bring the entirety into union with the light.
The rulers laid plans and said, “Come, let us create a man that will be soil from the earth.” They modeled their creature as one wholly of the earth. Now the rulers […] body […] they have […] female […] is […] with the face of a beast. They had taken some soil from the earth and modeled their man after their body and after the image of God that had appeared to them in the waters.
They said, “Come, let us lay hold of it by means of the form that we have modeled, so that it may see its male counterpart […], and we may seize it with the form that we have modeled” – not understanding the force of God, because of their powerlessness.
And he breathed into his face; and the man came to have a soul (and remained) upon the ground many days. But they could not make him arise because of their powerlessness. Like storm winds they persisted (in blowing), that they might try to capture that image, which had appeared to them in the waters. And they did not know the identity of its power.
Now all these things came to pass by the will of the father of the entirety. Afterwards, the spirit saw the soul-endowed man upon the ground. And the spirit came forth from the Adamantine Land; it descended and came to dwell within him, and that man became a living soul. It called his name Adam, since he was found moving upon the ground. A voice came forth from incorruptibility for the assistance of Adam; and the rulers gathered together all the animals of the earth and all the birds of heaven and brought them in to Adam to see what Adam would call them, that he might give a name to each of the birds and all the beasts.
They took Adam and put him the garden, that he might cultivate it and keep watch over it. And the rulers issued a command to him, saying, “From every tree in the garden shall you eat; yet from the tree of recognizing good and evil do not eat, nor touch it; for the day you eat from it, with death you are going to die.”
They […] this. They do not understand what they have said to him; rather, by the father’s will, they said this in such a way that he might (in fact) eat, and that Adam might <not> regard them as would a man of an exclusively material nature.
The rulers took counsel with one another and said, “Come, let us cause a deep sleep to fall upon Adam.” And he slept. – Now the deep sleep that they “caused to fall upon him, and he slept” is Ignorance. – They opened his side like a living woman. And they built up his side with some flesh in place of her, and Adam came to be endowed only with soul.
And the spirit-endowed woman came to him and spoke with him, saying, “Arise, Adam.” And when he saw her, he said, “It is you who have given me life; you will be called ‘mother of the living’. – For it is she who is my mother. It is she who is the physician, and the woman, and she who has given birth.”
Then the authorities came up to their Adam. And when they saw his female counterpart speaking with him, they became agitated with great agitation; and they became enamored of her. They said to one another, “Come, let us sow our seed in her,” and they pursued her.
And she laughed at them for their witlessness and their blindness; and in their clutches she became a tree, and left before them her shadowy reflection resembling herself; and they defiled it foully. – And they defiled the stamp of her voice, so that by the form they had modeled, together with their (own) image, they made themselves liable to condemnation.
Then the female spiritual principle came in the snake, the instructor; and it taught them, saying, “What did he say to you? Was it, ‘From every tree in the garden shall you eat; yet – from the tree of recognizing good and evil do not eat’?”
The carnal woman said, “Not only did he say ‘Do not eat’, but even ‘Do not touch it; for the day you eat from it, with death you are going to die.'”
And the snake, the instructor, said, “With death you shall not die; for it was out of jealousy that he said this to you. Rather your eyes shall open and you shall come to be like gods, recognizing evil and good.” And the female instructing principle was taken away from the snake, and she left it behind, merely a thing of the earth.
And the carnal woman took from the tree and ate; and she gave to her husband as well as herself; and these beings that possessed only a soul, ate. And their imperfection became apparent in their lack of knowledge; and they recognized that they were naked of the spiritual element, and took fig leaves and bound them upon their loins.
Then the chief ruler came; and he said, “Adam! Where are you?” – for he did not understand what had happened. And Adam said, “I heard your voice and was afraid because I was naked; and I hid.”
The ruler said, “Why did you hide, unless it is because you have eaten from the tree from which alone I commanded you not to eat? And you have eaten!”
Adam said, “The woman that you gave me, she gave to me and I ate.” And the arrogant ruler cursed the woman.
The woman said, “It was the snake that led me astray and I ate.” They turned to the snake and cursed its shadowy reflection, […] powerless, not comprehending that it was a form they themselves had modeled. From that day, the snake came to be under the curse of the authorities; until the all-powerful man was to come, that curse fell upon the snake.
They turned to their Adam and took him and expelled him from the garden along with his wife; for they have no blessing, since they too are beneath the curse. Moreover, they threw mankind into great distraction and into a life of toil, so that their mankind might be occupied by worldly affairs, and might not have the opportunity of being devoted to the holy spirit.
Now afterwards, she bore Cain, their son; and Cain cultivated the land. Thereupon he knew his wife; again becoming pregnant, she bore Abel; and Abel was a herdsman of sheep. Now Cain brought in from the crops of his field, but Abel brought in an offering (from) among his lambs. God looked upon the votive offerings of Abel; but he did not accept the votive offerings of Cain. And carnal Cain pursued Abel, his brother.
And God said to Cain, “Where is Abel, your brother?”
He answered saying, “Am I, then, my brother’s keeper?”

The rulers took counsel with one another and said, “Come, let us cause a deluge with our hands and obliterate all flesh, from man to beast.” But when the ruler of the forces came to know of their decision, he said to Noah, “Make yourself an ark from some wood that does not rot and hide in it – you and your children and the beasts and the birds of heaven from small to large – and set it upon Mount Sir.”
Then Orea came to him, wanting to board the ark. And when he would not let her, she blew upon the ark and caused it to be consumed by fire. Again he made the ark, for a second time.
The rulers went to meet her, intending to lead her astray. Their supreme chief said to her, “Your mother Eve came to us.” But Norea turned to them and said to them, “It is you who are the rulers of the darkness; you are accursed. And you did not know my mother; instead it was your female counterpart that you knew. For I am not your descendant; rather it is from the world above that I am come.”
The arrogant ruler turned, with all his might, and his countenance came to be like (a) black […]; he said to her presumptuously, “You must render service to us, as did also your mother Eve; for I have been given […].” But Norea turned, with the might of […]; and in a loud voice, she cried out up to the holy one, the God of the entirety, “Rescue me from the rulers of unrighteousness and save me from their clutches – forthwith!”
The <great> angel came down from the heavens and said to her, “Why are you crying up to God? Why do you act so boldly towards the holy spirit?”
Norea said, “Who are you?” The rulers of unrighteousness had withdrawn from her.
He said, “It is I who am Eleleth, sagacity, the great angel who stands in the presence of the holy spirit. I have been sent to speak with you and save you from the grasp of the lawless. And I shall teach you about your root.”
(Norea apparently now speaking) Now as for that angel, I cannot speak of his power: his appearance is like fine gold and his raiment is like snow. No, truly, my mouth cannot bear to speak of his power and the appearance of his face!
Eleleth, the great angel, spoke to me. “It is I,” he said, “who am understanding. I am one of the four light-givers, who stand in the presence of the great invisible spirit. Do you think these rulers have any power over you? None of them can prevail against the root of truth; for on its account he appeared in the final ages; and these authorities will be restrained. And these authorities cannot defile you and that generation; for your abode is in incorruptibility, where the virgin spirit dwells, who is superior to the authorities of chaos and to their universe.”
But I said, “Sir, teach me about the faculty of these authorities – how did they come into being, and by what kind of genesis, and of what material, and who created them and their force?”
And the great angel Eleleth, understanding, spoke to me: “Within limitless realms dwells incorruptibility. Sophia, who is called Pistis, wanted to create something, alone without her consort; and her product was a celestial thing. A veil exists between the world above and the realms that are below; and shadow came into being beneath the veil; and that shadow became matter; and that shadow was projected apart. And what she had created became a product in the matter, like an aborted fetus. And it assumed a plastic form molded out of shadow, and became an arrogant beast resembling a lion. It was androgynous, as I have already said, because it was from matter that it derived.
Opening his eyes, he saw a vast quantity of matter without limit; and he became arrogant, saying, “It is I who am God, and there is none other apart from me”. When he said this, he sinned against the entirety. And a voice came forth from above the realm of absolute power, saying, “You are mistaken, Samael” – which is, ‘god of the blind’.
And he said, “If any other thing exists before me, let it become visible to me!” And immediately Sophia stretched forth her finger and introduced light into matter; and she pursued it down to the region of chaos. And she returned up to her light; once again darkness […] matter.
This ruler, by being androgynous, made himself a vast realm, an extent without limit. And he contemplated creating offspring for himself, and created for himself seven offspring, androgynous just like their parent. And he said to his offspring, “It is I who am god of the entirety.”
And Zoe (Life), the daughter of Pistis Sophia, cried out and said to him, “You are mistaken, Sakla!” – for which the alternative name is Yaltabaoth. She breathed into his face, and her breath became a fiery angel for her; and that angel bound Yaldabaoth and cast him down into Tartaros below the abyss.
Now when his offspring Sabaoth saw the force of that angel, he repented and condemned his father and his mother, matter. He loathed her, but he sang songs of praise up to Sophia and her daughter Zoe. And Sophia and Zoe caught him up and gave him charge of the seventh heaven, below the veil between above and below. And he is called ‘God of the forces, Sabaoth’, since he is up above the forces of chaos, for Sophia established him.
Now when these (events) had come to pass, he made himself a huge four-faced chariot of cherubim, and infinitely many angels to act as ministers, and also harps and lyres. And Sophia took her daughter Zoe and had her sit upon his right to teach him about the things that exist in the eighth (heaven); and the angel of wrath she placed upon his left. Since that day, his right has been called ‘life’; and the left has come to represent the unrighteousness of the realm of absolute power above. It was before your time that they came into being.
Now when Yaldabaoth saw him (Sabaoth) in this great splendor and at this height, he envied him; and the envy became an androgynous product, and this was the origin of envy. And envy engendered death; and death engendered his offspring and gave each of them charge of its heaven; and all the heavens of chaos became full of their multitudes. But it was by the will of the father of the entirety that they all came into being – after the pattern of all the things above – so that the sum of chaos might be attained.
“There, I have taught you about the pattern of the rulers; and the matter in which it was expressed; and their parent; and their universe.”
But I said, “Sir, am I also from their matter?”
“You, together with your offspring, are from the primeval father; from above, out of the imperishable light, their souls are come. Thus the authorities cannot approach them, because of the spirit of truth present within them; and all who have become acquainted with this way exist deathless in the midst of dying mankind. Still, that sown element will not become known now. Instead, after three generations it will come to be known, and it has freed them from the bondage of the authorities’ error.”
Then I said, “Sir, how much longer?”
He said to me, “Until the moment when the true man, within a modeled form, reveals the existence of the spirit of truth, which the father has sent.
Then he will teach them about everything, and he will anoint them with the unction of life eternal, given him from the undominated generation.
Then they will be freed of blind thought, and they will trample underfoot death, which is of the authorities, and they will ascend into the limitless light where this sown element belongs.
Then the authorities will relinquish their ages, and their angels will weep over their destruction, and their demons will lament their death.
Then all the children of the light will be truly acquainted with the truth and their root, and the father of the entirety and the holy spirit. They will all say with a single voice, ‘The father’s truth is just, and the son presides over the entirety”, and from everyone unto the ages of ages, “Holy – holy – holy! Amen!'”

Archangel Michael
Last times I have been very drawn towards Archangels and specially one of them called Michael. I think his story have gave me a much of strength. That this kind of divine figure can be found in all our major religions and is always described the same. I love his story and I think if you are spiritual person, you can ask his protection in difficult times.
Michael,[a] also called Archangel Michael or Michael the Taxiarch,[6] is an archangel and the warrior of God in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam while additionally being a saint in Christianity.[3][7] The earliest surviving mentions of his name are in third- and second-century BC Jewish works, often but not always apocalyptic, where he is the chief of the angels and archangels, and he is the guardian prince of Israel and is responsible for the care of the people of Israel.[8][9][10][11] Christianity conserved nearly all the Jewish traditions concerning him,[12] and he is mentioned explicitly in Revelation 12:7–12,[13] where he does battle with Satan,[14] and in the Epistle of Jude, where the archangel and the devil dispute over the body of Moses.[15]
Old Testament and Deuterocanon
The Book of Enoch[10] lists Michael as one of seven archangels (the remaining names are Uriel, Raguel, Raphael, Sariel, Gabriel, and Remiel), who in the Book of Tobit “stand ready and enter before the glory of the Lord”.[11] The fact that Michael is introduced implies the knowledge of him and the other named angels.[10][16] He is mentioned again in the last chapters of the Book of Daniel, a Jewish apocalypse composed in the second century BC, in which a man clothed in linen (never identified, but matching a description given to John in Revelation regarding the Alpha and Omega) tells Daniel that he and “Michael, your prince” are engaged in a battle with the “prince of Persia“, after which, at the end-time, “Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise”.[17][18]
Enoch was instrumental in establishing the pre-eminent place of Michael among the angels and archangels, and in later Jewish works, he is said to be their chief, mediating the Torah (the Law of God), and standing at the right hand of the throne of God.[8] In the traditions of the Qumran community, he defends or leads the people of God in the eschatological (i.e., end-time) battle.[19] In other writings, he is responsible for the care of Israel and acts as commander of the heavenly armies; he is Israel’s advocate contesting Satan’s claim to the body of Moses; he intercedes between God and humanity and serves as High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary; and he accompanies the souls of the righteous dead to Paradise.[9]
New Testament
The seven archangels (or four, as traditions differ but always include Michael) were associated with the branches of the menorah, the sacred seven-branched lampstand in the Temple as the seven spirits before the throne of God, and this is reflected in the Book of Revelation 4:5 (“Coming from the throne are flashes of lightning and rumblings and peals of thunder, and in front of the throne burn seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God,” – NRSVue).[20] Michael is mentioned explicitly in Revelation 12:7–12, where he does battle with Satan and casts him out of heaven so that he no longer has access to God as accuser (his formal role in the Old Testament).[14] The fall of Satan at the coming of Jesus marks the separation of the New Testament from Judaism.[21] In Luke 22:31, Jesus tells Peter that Satan has asked God for permission to “sift” the disciples, the goal being to accuse them, but the accusation is opposed by Jesus, who thus takes on the role played by angels, and especially by Michael, in Judaism.[22]
Michael is mentioned by name for the second time in the Epistle of Jude, which is an impassioned plea for the believers to engage in battle against the incursion of the error.[23] In verses 9–10, the author denounces the heretics by contrasting them with the archangel Michael, who, in disputing with Satan over the body of Moses, “did not presume to pronounce the verdict of ‘slander’ but said, ‘The Lᴏʀᴅ rebuke you!’”[24]
Earth Angels
Recent times I have been feeling urge to tell you about this matter. About possible Earth Angels. Are they real? Who are they? Are you a one? You have to figure it out yourself. I just have to bring this to the light.

1. Listener Earth Angels
Because earth angels are naturally strong in the clairsentient psychic pathway, it’s easy for earth angels to empathize and sympathize with others since earth angels can feel other people’s energy and emotions as if they were their own. Are people drawn to share deep or very personal issues with you, even if you don’t know them well? Your ability to be compassionate, understanding, and less judgmental could mean people open up to you easily.
Best part: You can create intimacy with new people quickly, having friends with many backgrounds and world views, and all you have to do is hold a safe, grounded, loving space for folks to share.
Challenging aspect: You might become drained if too many people want to confide in you. Put boundaries on how many people you listen to every day or for how long.
2. Healer Earth Angels
You feel drawn to people who are suffering and get great fulfillment from helping them.
Remember that healer earth angels don’t have to act in a profession or role that is traditionally thought of as a healer. You might heal family dynamics in your own tribe or help heal people’s finances as an accountant or money coach.
Best part:Healers experience a bit of healing themselves every time they help someone else.
Challenging aspect: Remember that you’re not meant to “fix” everyone or heal every wound. Simply share your expertise, assistance, and guidance to help people on a healing journey.
3. Nature Earth Angels
Do you feel a special connection to nature? Many earth angels do, and some are even called to work with the energy of nature and be guardians of nature.
You might live on a farm, on the beach, or in the mountains. Stewarding one particular piece of land or working to create a more green and sustainable world that honors nature as sacred fills you with energy and purpose.
Best part:Just being in nature, or surrounded by nature elements like plants and flowers, makes you feel more calm, grounded, and expansive.
Challenging aspect:It can be hard for nature earth angels to live in a place where they are not immersed in nature. If you live in a big city, find a great park, start a kitchen herb garden, or make periodic weekend getaways to a nearby location with lots of nature.
4. Activist Earth Angels
When something in the world is unjust or unequal, it really gets under your sensitive skin and inspires you to take peaceful, progressive action.
How needed you are in the world today and always, helping to make this planet a better place for all people, nature, and animals.
Best part:You are a passionate person who feels connected to everyone and everything. Your idealism raises the collective bar and inspires others to be better people.
Challenging aspect:Things that are unfair in the world make you angry, and that’s an uncomfortable feeling. Use your frustration as motivation to take meaningful action, feeling peace knowing you are making a difference.
5. Creative Earth Angels
Creative types—whether they’re musicians or engineers—who are also earth angels feel called to help and heal with their creations.
You consider carefully what you put into your creative endeavors and out into the world, wanting to be a positive influence. All sensitive people, like empaths, can benefit from having a creative outlet, as it is an excellent retreat and recovery time for your sensitive system.
Best part:You’re full of ideas, and your naturally strong intuition helps you be imaginative and inventive.
Challenging aspect:Creative projects can take on tough and painful subjects, like a documentary on refugees. Sometimes you may be called to interact with or reveal very difficult things to heal with your creativity.
6. Animal-Ally Earth Angels
You have a special connection to animals, and may feel you can understand or communicate with them in an extraordinary way. Having house pets, volunteering to work with shelter animals, or running a horse or elephant sanctuary might be an important part of your life purpose.
Best part:It’s a magical and unique ability to connect with an animal’s soul.
Challenging aspect: When animals are not treated with respect and kindness, it can be very upsetting. Advocate for the humane treatment of animals and share with others your views on the importance of animal welfare.
7. Busy Bee Earth Angels
You love to be in motion, taking action to help wherever and whenever you can.
You may be the rock of your office or family, or the helpful person who opens doors for strangers and writes your congressperson about better conditions for all. Whether you are volunteering at a charity or babysitting for a neighbor, you get a lot of good stuff done.
Best part:The tangible proof that you are a positive force in the world—a force to be reckoned with!
Challenging aspect:Even people with an enormous amount of energy and capacity to give can experience burnout. Schedule restorative time into your calendar too!
8. Caregiver Earth Angels
Whether it’s caring for a house full of children or a backyard garden full of plants, you feel more alive and joyful when you are nurturing. What might exhaust others actually nourishes you.
Best part:You love to support others and can be deeply admired and appreciated by the folks in your orbit.
Challenging aspect:Make sure to have some relationships where you are receiving more, and remind yourself that it’s OK to be compensated for your caregiving, whether that’s compliments or financial compensation.
How to decide which one(s) you are
After reading through these, play a game with your sixth sense and ask your intuition to give you a number between 1 and 8, knowing you might receive more than one number. I heard “4” and “5” in my mind.
You might see “2” and “8” in your mind, have the thought “No. 7” pop into your mind, or get a strong feeling about the number 3. This may provide a hint about your earth angel type(s).

If you’ve been on TikTok or YouTube lately, you’ve probably come across the term destiny swapping—the idea that someone else has exchanged your destiny for theirs. But what does that look like? We’re digging in deep, so keep reading to learn more, including how to spot a destiny swap, how to reverse it, and why it happens.
What is destiny swapping?
A destiny swap occurs when one person tries to take another person’s life—like their spiritual gifts, finances, friends, or job—for their own. Destiny swapping is usually rooted in jealousy and insecurity. It’s often accomplished through the dark arts, although sometimes simple manipulation is at play.
Destiny swapping is when one person takes or blocks another’s purpose. If someone is trying to swap your destiny, they might try to take blessings that are intended for you, like education, career, or romantic opportunities. This often occurs when the person is envious of your life or potential and unhappy with their own life, so they want what you have.
- Destiny swaps are typically associated with dark magic or sorcery.[1]
- The person may also use abuse or manipulation to try to keep you from following your intended life path because they don’t want you to succeed where they can’t.
- Destiny swapping is considered an act of evil. There’s nothing wrong with trying to better oneself, but it’s wrong to do it at someone else’s expense.
The person who destiny swaps is likely to have misfortune in the long run. Luckily, destiny swaps usually aren’t permanent—fate typically works to restore itself, and the person who cast the destiny swap usually suffers the consequences of this malicious act. Once the destiny swap is reversed, the person will usually lose anything they gained as a result of the exchange.
- For instance, they may suffer misfortune that causes them to lose any financial gains that they made from a career-based destiny swap, or they may incur a bad reputation and lose any standing in their social circle if they destiny swapped to gain popularity.
You feel disconnected from yourself. If you’ve been the victim of a destiny swap, you may notice that you don’t feel like yourself. You may feel like you’ve lost touch with your hopes and dreams, or like you’re not living the life that you’re truly intended to live.
- You may also feel like you’re living a life that was meant for someone else.
You feel sick or like your energy is being drained. A destiny swap can cause a persistent feeling of exhaustion or fatigue. You might feel physically tired or emotionally drained, or you might lose interest in things you normally enjoy. You may even start to notice your health declining.

- There are a lot of things that can cause feelings like this, including physical and mental health conditions. Talk to a medical professional if you feel sick or notice a drastic change in your energy levels.[3]
You have recurring bad dreams. Dreams can often give us insight into spiritual warfare. Pay close attention if you notice that someone is giving you gifts or food in your dreams—this could be a symbol that they’re offering you their fate in exchange for yours. Similarly, dreams where you swap clothes or shoes with someone else can be a sign of a destiny swap.
- You may also dream that you’re being robbed, your clothes are being taken, someone keeps calling you the wrong name, or someone else is pretending to be you.
- If you have dreams warning you that someone has bad intentions, it could be a spirit guide trying to alert you that someone is attempting to swap destinies with you.
You experience a string of failures or bad luck. You may feel like you’re right on the edge of a major breakthrough or success, only to suffer a blow that puts you right back at square one. That happens to everyone once in a while—but if it keeps happening, it could be that someone is draining the energy you’d need to succeed.[4]
- You might also feel stagnant, like you’ve lost your sense of purpose or direction.
You notice someone close to you is living the life you want. The signs may be obvious—they may have gotten accepted to your dream school, been hired for a job you wanted, or started dating someone you were interested in. But it can be more subtle, too. If the signs above resonated with you, someone may have attempted a destiny swap, which could be draining your physical and mental energy and diverting you from your true path.[6]
Limit external influences in your life for a while. Take some time alone to reflect on what you really want out of your life. Think about what you feel like you’re meant to be doing, and try to determine when and how your path got diverted. During that time, avoid seeking counsel from others so you don’t inadvertently allow the destiny swapper to continue exerting influence over you. Ask yourself questions like:
- What would I be doing with my life if I could rewrite my story?
- When did I lose sight of my purpose?
- Is there anyone in my life who seems to benefit when things go wrong in my life?
- Has anyone influenced me to give up on my dreams?
Allow yourself to embrace your heart’s desire. If you’ve gotten pushed off your fated life path, it can feel impossible to chase your dreams again. But if there’s a different life that you feel like you’re supposed to be living, reconnect with that feeling. Your life is yours, and no one else can permanently stop you from living your dreams.
- Let go of things in your life that aren’t serving you. Whether you were the victim of a destiny swap or life just got in the way of you following your dreams, if something is holding you back, it’s okay to release it.[7] For instance, you might:
- Cut ties with a family member or partner who keeps you from following your dreams. If that’s not possible, make a concerted effort not to let them deter you from your path.
- Let go of beliefs or insecurities that you’re not good enough or unworthy.
- Heal from tragic events in your life that caused you to change your path.
Reclaim your power. Taking back power can look different for every person—what’s really important is the intention and determination you put into it. Here are some ideas you might use to break a destiny swap and reclaim your destiny:
- Prayer: Ask your higher power to sever any ties and restore you to your path. Some people find that burning candles during prayer helps intensify the request.
- Cleansing ritual: Infuse a bath or ritual cleansing spray with healing salts and cleansing herbs like lavender, rosemary, basil, palo santo, peppermint, and sage.
- Cord-cutting ceremony: Sever a real or imagined cord to symbolically release the attachment keeping the destiny swap in place.
Use spiritual protection rituals to ward off destiny swaps. There’s not one set ritual to ward off destiny swaps. Instead, choose a protection ritual that’s tailored to your specific beliefs—you have to believe in it for it to work.
- For instance, if you’re religious, you might pray or undergo a blessing from a pastor, priest, or other spiritual leader.
- If you hold New Age beliefs, you might use crystals or mantras to protect your space and energy from destiny swaps.[8]
- You could also ask your spirit guides or ancestors for protection.
Speak your intentions out loud. Speaking your intentions can be a powerful defense against dark magic. Set up a quiet, peaceful space to yourself and meditate on your purpose, dreams, and goals. Then, speak that out loud to ward off anyone who wishes you ill and to manifest the life you want to live.
- For instance, you might say something like, “I will go to college and get my nursing degree. I will not allow anyone to tell me I’m not good enough or make me feel guilty about leaving home.”
- If you’re not comfortable speaking your intentions out loud, write them down instead. Some people recommend burning the paper after you’re finished.[9]
Surround yourself with people you can trust. Listen to your intuition when it comes to the people you keep in your circle. When someone genuinely means you well, you can feel that. They’ll uplift you and encourage you to follow your dreams. Having positive influences in your life can be a powerful protection against anyone who wishes you ill.
- If you find yourself questioning your path, it’s okay to turn to these trusted loved ones for advice—but remember to listen to your heart as the ultimate guide.
Be skeptical of other people’s motives. If someone seems eager to get close to you, ask yourself why. Do you notice them copying your mannerisms and the way you dress? Do they seem especially friendly with the people close to you, or constantly comment on how lucky you are? If so, they may desire your life for themselves. This can be a sign of an energy vampire or destiny swapper, and it may be safest to keep them at arm’s length.
- That doesn’t mean that everyone who wants to get close to you is a practitioner of the dark arts and will successfully be able to swap your destiny. But if you’re not sure of someone’s true motivations, give them space to show you who they really are before you let yourself get close to them.
Someone may destiny swap because they’re envious or dissatisfied. They may notice that you have special gifts or talents—some people call this being “chosen.” This can make you vulnerable to people who want to feed off of your energy and use it for themselves. People like this are sometimes called energy vampires or energy parasites.
- Often, this will be someone close to you. They may pose as a friend, or it could be a partner, roommate, or family member who’s jealous of your light.
- Sometimes people who destiny swap are just desperate to change their own life. In this case, it might be someone you wouldn’t suspect, like a friend of a friend or a distant coworker.
- Occasionally, people will attempt a destiny swap because they’re curious whether it can really be done. They may be dabbling in the occult or dark arts, and may not fully expect the ritual to actually work.
Someone may actively use dark magic to accomplish a destiny swap. It’s suspected that practitioners of the dark arts, like witches, warlocks, or sorcerers, may be involved with destiny swapping. Rituals may include speaking your name out loud or using items that belong to you, like a piece of your clothing or hair, on an altar.
- Some people believe that physical contact, sexual relationships, and generational curses can also lead to destiny swapping.
There are examples of destiny swaps in the Bible. The most noticeable example is the story of Jacob and Esau—although they were twins, Esau was born first, so he was in line to receive a bigger portion of their inheritance. One day, when Esau was particularly hungry, Jacob traded him a bowl of stew for Esau’s portion of the inheritance, effectively taking the future wealth intended for Esau.[10]
- Other examples include the story in Exodus where Pharaoh killed all of the male Hebrew infants to try to stop the promised deliverer (Moses) from being born. Although Moses did eventually set the Hebrew people free, Pharaoh’s act diverted the course of Moses’ life.
- Similarly, Mary and Joseph had to escape to Egypt to save Jesus’ life when Herod demanded that all male infants be killed to prevent the birth of the Messiah.
There’s no scientific evidence that verifies destiny swaps. That said, some people strongly believe that they do exist. Additionally, there’s a lot that we still don’t understand about how energy might be transferred from one person to another.
- That said, even if destiny swaps are real, they’re likely only temporary. Fate is a powerful force, and what’s written for you can’t be easily erased.
