# The Memory Hole

Since 2013 I have linked to thousands of videos, pictures, documents and websites on this site. Many of them are no longer there. Videos are deleted from YouTube, whole websites go offline, and articles quietly vanish from news sites. Some of it is just the internet getting old. Some of it is not.

So I built a small robot that checks every single source on Auricmedia, again and again, all day long. When something has really disappeared, it is recorded here. If the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine has saved a copy, you can still open it. If not, the source is marked as lost.

This is The Memory Hole: a living record of what has been erased. It updates itself automatically, so come back from time to time and see what has disappeared since your last visit.

Take all of this with a grain of salt, but give it a try and see what happens!
