I just stumbled to this music duo an it is awesome. As a music lover I have been very sad that new music is not inspiring or there has not been anything new. Everything is just talking shitty AI in music industry, it is pure shit. Then this band came to my feed and it restored my hope to humanity and music. It is composed of two [anonymous](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anonymity#Anonymity_and_pseudonymity_in_art) musicians performing under [pseudonyms](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudonym) as guitarist Khn de Poitrine and drummer Klek de Poitrine. They are known for complex, [microtonal](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microtonal#Microtonality_in_rock_music) compositions in the style of [math rock](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Math_rock) and [experimental rock](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Experimental_rock), and an [absurdist](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absurdism) public image, featuring oversized [papier-mâché](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papier-m%C3%A2ch%C3%A9) masks and black-and-white polka-dotted costumes.

Conceived initially as a disguise to retain audiences across back-to-back sets at a local venue, the project became the duo's primary focus. Following their debut album, *Vol. 1* (2024), the band gained traction on the Quebec festival circuit, culminating in an Artist of the Year win at the 2025 [GAMIQ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GAMIQ) awards. They achieved [viral](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viral_video) recognition in February 2026 when a live session recorded for US radio station [KEXP](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KEXP) accumulated millions of views.
