‘Transhumanism’ is a term that has become a euphemism that has been assimilated into our vocabulary such that it shocks no longer. It would seem perfectly natural that we follow the next ‘evolutionary’ step towards the survival of the fittest and convert ourselves into an information field that never breaks down or decays. No need for physical bodies that break down and die, we can reconstruct our virtual self in electronic form and go on forever. Or can we?

Ray Kurzweil believes the exponential growth of artificial intelligence, biotechnology and nanotechnology means that before 2050 his consciousness and identity – can be copied and uploaded into a non-biological form transcending biology and achieve the dream of immortality.

All this flows from Kurzweil’s Law of Accelerating Returns, a generalization of Moore’s Law, which predicts ongoing exponential growth of key technologies. What this means, Kurzweil writes, is that “…we won’t experience 100 years of progress in the 21st century – it will be more like 20,000 years of progress (at today’s rate).”

A body vastly enhanced through biotech and nanotech may suffice to extend life spans indefinitely, but the ultimate leap is to transcend biology entirely. Before 2050, Kurzweil predicts that AI and nanotech will have advanced so far that his brain, with its memories, capabilities and characteristics, can be reduced to pure information and rebooted in a non-biological format, be it a supercomputer, a real or virtual body, or a swarm of nanobots.

If he’s right, before 2050 all information-based technologies will be millions of times more advanced and AI will far outshine the power of all human brains combined, a development futurists describe as ‘The Singularity.’

There are a surprising number who will see morphing into a non- biologically centred virtual machine as an attractive and even exciting prospect for the future of our species. Many look at it as a palliative for all the ills that plague the human quantum both in terms of a social and a physical perspective. Many people will be familiar with how the elements that contrast man against machine play out.

The arguments settle within the aprons of two broad primary factions. There are those who are able to have a sense of what might lie beyond the scales of the purely physical and empiricist standpoint; people with a religious faith or belief in an eternal tray of continuity. Then there are those who hold a hard wired outlook and only believe in an existential tray that is strictly the manifestation of atoms alone and thus of a Universe of force and parts that decays to a complete negation of all things ending in a nothingness driven by the Second Law of Thermodynamics. The latter is a strictly temporal view that only believes in what is here and affirmable through the physical senses, a view that, finally exposes an end to all reason and meaning and more pertinently, an end to the delineation of the concept of free compunction within an individualization that allows for an assertion of the concept and realization of the Self. Whilst the former, the religious view, all too often points to an anthropomorphic entity as a God who out of his perfection creates us in our imperfection just to watch the fun. If he, she, or it is any God he, she, or it should know the outcome! So how perfect can such a God be?

I have written extensively about a third way, one that unites both factional views and points to the fallacy and terrifying consequences of each taken in isolation.

Let’s first take a deeper look at the kind of ‘Singularity’ Kurzweil outlines as a something that might well point to a kind of Valhalla.
If you trace back the pathway of the explosion into states of greater and greater separation with time, as we can trace what has happened with the Universe, you will inevitably arrive at a point of union, a singularity where there is no separation of points and therefore no time, space or matter, a non-physical quantum field that you might for want of a better word call God. If our consciousness is a manifestation of that quantum field set against what is incidentally opposite to it, then the singularity that Kurzweil is so looking forward to would be a reconstruction of that original natural state in an artificial, virtual format.

But what exactly is that original natural state? There seems to be a power that allows for ordered states to happen incidentally within a disorganizing inertia. This power I believe emanates from an ultimate singularity that is itself manifested through the existence of two absolute Poles. One a pole of ultimate Union and Harmony, the singularity before the Big Bang and the other a Pole of ultimate disunion and disharmony, the point of ultimate chaos, the end point of the second law of thermodynamics or ‘entropy’ that describes the fact that all states decay into greater and greater randomness, chaos, and separation with time. This primary existential backdrop is implicit and implicate. There is no creator God playing dice with his created beings. We are, as a combined manifestation of these primary existential opposed poles, here through our own choice made in the perfect freedom of the state in which all choices are possible. It is this pole of ultimate union that provides for the whole reference against which all partial states can be known. Without that reference these partial states cannot be known. Thus artificial intelligence cannot include self awareness or consciousness. It will always be a sum of parts working together, a working machine, but it will have no reference of the whole picture through which it may know its parts.

The Earth as a planetary concept for instance is claimed to be conscious as the manifestation of the Gaya principle. If consciousness is defined as the ability to have control over one’s environment, to be cognizant enough to break the chain of cause and effect, the Earth cannot be conscious because it cannot intervene in the basic laws of cause and effect of its own volition and intercept them. In the same way no purely atomic construction can break the chain of cause and effect. It is intrinsically part of that chain of action and reaction in an enforced universe. Only that which has no force can break the chain and as force is the product of the separation of points only that which is from state of perfect union has no force.

A wonderful illustration of this principle is the contrast between the Old Testament dictum of ‘an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth’ and the Christian prophet’s instruction to turn the other cheek. By this simple statement Christ illustrated the nature of consciousness set against that which is not conscious. A computer program or a non living static-dependent object (by that I mean – a robot) can only follow an eye for an eye, action and reaction. A conscious and thus self evaluating being can intercept that chain of events and change it regardless of implied trend. When Jesus said “If a man asks you for his coat give him your cloak also” he was illustrating the same principle. Conscious being can change the course of events, do that little bit more than simply respond to stimuli. In fact it could be said that every positive quality that has a unionizing momentum that might be termed ‘love’ is an expression of consciousness intercepting the entropic chain of cause and logically implied effect.

In his unbridled enthusiasm to recreate his identity does Kurzweil believe that his self awareness will be there to appreciate its own virtual eternity? Will he be there to view and appreciate his virtual self? “In the 2040s,” says Kurzweil, “the non-biological proportions of our beings will be powerful enough to completely model and simulate the biological part. It will be a continuum, a continuity of pattern.” But is self awareness recreated by repeating the pattern of a self aware being? Would you be there to know your own artificial re-creation? Or would it be accurate to say that Kurzweil’s singularity is actually a dead end, nothing but an empty go-nowhere image of the conscious, aware singularity that preceded the Big Bang?

It is almost as though he and those who advocate trans-humanism are re-enacting the age old metaphor in which the character Lucifer, the fallen angel, makes copies of the heavenly hierarchy. Artificial intelligence, cloning, virtual reality would all come under this umbrella. Would you want your children to look forward to a future in which they will be implanted with chips that can increase their intelligence or their musical ability, genetically engineer their offspring to be to follow a desired specification and eventually download their personalities, their likes their dislikes, their whole being into a virtual copy? Would you want to leave your kids the legacy trans-humanism has to offer? If the answer is no and Kurzweil is right in his predictions now is the time to slam on the brakes.

If you suspect that the Grey alien phenomenon is real and have deduced as I have from the evidence thus far that these visitors are the ultimate in artificial intelligence then you might also come to the conclusion that the civilization that produced them never applied the brakes. In them are we looking at our future? Perhaps a more pertinent question would be, are they sponsoring that future?

In the Book of Revelation, Chapter 13 there is a remarkable description of what may well be trans-human future.  HYPERLINK “http://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Revelation-13-11/” \o “View more translations of Revelation 13:11″A beast comes up out ‘out of the earth’ that has ‘horns like a lamb’ but speaks ‘as a dragon.’ The implication is of something that is seemingly innocent and harmless but in reality quite different. This beast does ‘great wonders’ and deceives those ‘that dwell on the earth by the means of miracles.’ An entity is described that has a deadly wound but is somehow miraculously brought back to life, an image is then created out of that entity. Could this refer to cloning procedures involving imaging and copying, procedures that might one day be so commonplace that anyone who does not embrace the trans-human ideal that they bring about will be dispensed with, ‘as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed?’

Many have speculated that the ‘mark’ of the ‘beast’ that is received ‘in their right hand or in their foreheads’ may well be a form of bio-chip that will be essential for all ‘buying’ and ‘selling.’ Could the ‘beast’ that seems, in the Book of Revelation, to lead the creation of a kind of Sim-card man simply refer to the ultimate irony that trans-humanism makes us like beasts as it takes away from us the very freedom of rationally, based sophisticated choice, the very freedom to beat the chain of cause and effect that marks us out as human when set against the simple reactive mental modes of animals not far removed from the mechanical psycho-expletives one might expect from a robot or machine and its functioning paradigms.

I do not wish to send a chill through the spine of readers but the mere possibility that such as I am outlining might be true exposes a remarkable irony. Could it be that the ultimate in apparent sophistication and human evolutionary potential actually results in the ultimate in human devolutionary potential, the conversion of the human species into a state of an idle and restricted freedom no different in real terms to that of the lowest forms of life.

Even if one does not accept a reality beyond the physical that might be compromised by the abrogation of the human spirit to mechanized external features there is no doubt that trans-humanism mortgages our capabilities as human beings to a prosthetic technology that is quantum steps further than that brought about by the industrial revolution, which arguably made life easier for us through mechanization of basic tasks. Trans-humanism is the mechanization of our intrinsic faculties as human beings to think and know.

I believe this all is a startlingly real and will be a verifiable threat for those who are willing to do the research (with a mind-set that is objective and neutral), into the consequence of the world Kurzweil and his cohorts are laying out for us. The trouble is that many of us find this very hard to do. We slip on with the days own troubles leading us into boxes made by our restrictions and prejudices, the strongest of which are those we hitch up to our eyes. We creep along inexorably with views that blend into a backdrop of ready assembled comfort points. Comfort points designed to provide physical ease and convenience. It is simply the dope of the damned. A matrix we create for ourselves where we weave a spiders web of restrictions all around us. The trouble is we don’t trap any flies. We are the flies. We trap ourselves and our futures.

Will we pay the ultimate price for not being able to see that an eternal scope might exist for each and every one of us in a scale that lies beyond the hems of atoms? Are we going to compromise something as mightily significant as this simply because we in the empirical way cannot measure it, and see, hear, touch, smell or taste it? Man shall surely walk as machine if we do.

According to a just published extraterrestrial-themed edition of the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society world governments should prepare a co-ordinated action plan in case Earth is contacted by aliens. Contributing scientists argue that a branch of the UN must be given responsibility for “supra-Earth affairs” and formulate a plan for how to deal with extraterrestrials, should they appear.

According to Simon Conway Morris, a professor of evolutionary palaeobiology at Cambridge University, anyone planning for alien contact should prepare for the worst. Evolution on alien worlds, he said, is likely to be Darwinian in nature: “Why should we ‘prepare for the worst’? First, if intelligent aliens exist, they will look just like us, and given our far from glorious history, this should give us pause for thought,” wrote Morris in the journal’s special issue.

Some months back Michio Kaku and Stephen Hawking were saying the same thing, i.e. Watch out, alien life is both highly likely to exist and highly likely to be predatory. This double whammy from leading scientists is thus given more weight by the eminent scientists now calling for a world plan to deal with this potential threat. But hang on a minute, who said ‘potential threat?’ Why is there no recognisance of the solid evidence that they are here already.

On September 27th 2010 a press conference was held at the National Press Club in Washington, where at least a dozen former high ranking U.S. Air Force personnel, mostly officers who worked on secret projects connected to sensitive nuclear weapons sites, admitted that they were privy to UFO and alien-related incidents that occurred during their time of service. Tens of thousands of reliable witnesses including pilots, policemen, politicians, even astronauts, testify to their witness of this phenomenon. Two US astronauts, Gordon Cooper and Ed Mitchell believe that they are here already. Yet Johnny come lately scientists are preparing for the fact that they probably do exist might contact us and are likely to be dangerous. This news along with Hawking’s and Kaku’s predictions plus the revelations made at the Press Club should be of world significance as they affect the prospectus of all humanity. Yet each is a very small afterthought in the wake of other events of earth-shattering importance such as celebrity news and developments in popular soaps on TV. In the light of this perhaps we deserve being trodden underfoot by alien visitors with a supremely advanced technology. But let’s take a look at the evidence thus far:

In researching my books I have come across well over a hundred distinct types of alien that witnesses report are actually here. There are cat aliens, dog aliens, horse aliens, and even aliens masquerading as Punch and Judy puppets. That is not to mention the strange looks I get from my wife sometimes.

So how do you establish that any alien stories are verifiably true? The answer is of course is you just simply cannot. The simple-minded and of course the downright gullible may believe them but for most they will be curious stories with some entertainment value. Who can blame them, the human imagination is notorious for attention seeking, for vanity, for risk taking, profit making, confabulating and as many ‘ingy’ things as you can think of. Yes there are the informed few who can filter the true from the false but the mainstream is a hung parliament.

Now it would be quite different if you could get the odd alien to the nearest TV studio and hitch up a TV broadcast to the world. Here you could get a battery of the world’s most respected doctors, lawyers, accountants, and most important of all celebrities to attest that what the punter is seeing and hearing is true. Notice I left out scientists, priests and politicians from the verification list, my intention there is only to ensure that the truth police don’t pay us a visit. Back to the show: Music, (by that I mean semi- industrial cacophonies masquerading as a beat) flashing lights and disparate volumes of frozen carbon dioxide for atmosphere will attract the young punter or ‘future generation’ and all will be set to convince the world that we are not alone. An appearance by Russell Brand might ensure that we might as well be, just in case the alien company is boring, and flash bang wallop a commentator or two from Reynard TV, US of A can act as referees for judging the fairness of any arguments an ascendant alien intelligence might for example make in propagating a cull of anyone more sepia toned than arctic pinkish white with blond highlights.

All will be set to convince the world that we are not alone and that human history as we know it is all bunkum.

Will it all work? Not on your nelly. We have forgotten the rent a sceptic brigade, that awesome breed of one arm bandit intelligences, all five of them, that intersperse airways globally as the self appointed guardians of the ’empirical way.’ The verification panel with ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ boards and straight ahead one way minded pebble lens views for whom there is no up, down or sideways.

Now while all this is being set up. Any friendly mega intelligent alien (it came here past the speed of light barrier after all) would have to stretch a long four finger point and cooperate more indulgently than your pet poodle while being placated, poked, prodded, prompted and questioned. Imagine a group of ants doing that to your average representative of the human flock on ANT-TV. Heavy shoes for stamping and insect repellent would be out for a start. No need for an ‘I am a good Alien’ tee-shirt slogan on its chest either. If everyone is still there un-zapped and alive and the cameras work, we can take that slogan as implied.

Cameras roll, music, (something like ‘Sprach Zarathustra’ and the Star Wars theme) credits form and disappear, a pan into close up and there would sit David Frost, Piers Morgan, Oprah, and as a special return cameo Larry King. They’d all be there to see us through the alien’s credentials as genuinely inter-galactic.

That’s it! We have lift off. The world is about to be changed to its root forever. The truth will not be out there anymore. It would have come to roost in a TV studio where it has always belonged.

Lift off Larry. Lift off Oprah. Let’s get the show on the road. Did I say lift off!!! You’ve got to be joking. You’d be living in cloud cuckoo land if you thought that all this would convince Mr and Mrs, Master and Miss Mainstream Witness out there that what they were seeing was genuine and true. A room full of Popes, Rabbis, Imams, Mahanayake Theras, Grand Ayotollahs or even Arsenal fans would be deemed nothing to the strokes of a simple video pen. A million angst ridden bloggers and commentators with the entire lexicon of the ‘f’ word leading them and the dexterity of egg noodles and Kentucky fried soaked fingers, will descend on every server of good or bad grace and crash every laptop and PC within the 25,000 mile circumference of the planet. The whole thing would in seconds be deemed mere “Windows'” dressing in the hands of some clever technicians or hackers with the latest precious clutch of transistors and diodes and back up viruses lovingly set on the parody of the gift the Greeks left the Trojans. And who would do the ‘deeming?’ You’ve guessed it. It would be there smiling if it could. The kind of smile you would get from your vacuum cleaner when you switched it to blow when you meant suck. Game, set and match. A studio full of our best set human value written on billions of oblong screens of cold and hot light around the globe, its relevance smashed to smithereens.

Cut to the studio control room’s editor’s suite. A discreet hand reaches forward on the master edit console. A button is pressed down by a fore-finger. The hand has no thumb. The ‘ON AIR’ sign lights up. A single spotlight blazes on a strange spindly form. Only the most intelligent and gifted humans will see that it is irrelevant to ask the question. Where are you from?

Skeptical people have always wondered whether or not we are alone in the universe. The Truth is that extraterrestrials have visited our planet long ago, and they even have contacted with some countries secretly, but these governments won’t acknowledge the existence of UFOs officially. However, before the end of this century, a massive extraterrestrial contact will take place on Earth. That day will be historical for mankind and not even the most recalcitrant skeptic will deny the existence of UFOs anymore.

Entity that came to dialogue: Master Ruanel.
Interlocutor: Do Skeptics continue with their stubborn posture denying the existence of UFOs and the spiritual world?
Ruanel: Correct, and they also have phobia against all that is related to esotericism and they continue with their truth. In some cases there are skeptics that become directly in fools when they deny what reality is.
Interlocutor: In the case of skeptics they must have ego and engrams without any doubt, otherwise one cannot understood,- and excuse me the term-, such imbecility.
Ruanel: Obviously.
Interlocutor: What I am not sure of is if they act in bad faith, or it’s simply their stupidity.
Ruanel: Don’t think so. There are skeptics that make fun of people they attack verbally they demean not only to your group but also to other groups. They take as irrational to all those who believe in everything related to the spiritual world.
Interlocutor: Well, I believe that this issue about skeptics is over. Here I have scheduled something that many people have asked me constantly; they ask if there will be a massive extraterrestrial contact. I mean to a public and, official contact, of extraterrestrials with the human race, so that nobody has doubt that they are here. I asked this question to Eon, you already know it, and he avoided giving answers with the excuse that the expectation brings intention or something like that. (laughs)
Ruanel: Well, then I’m off the hook. (laughs). You already know that fortunetelling doesn’t exist.
Interlocutor: Yes, of course, but I’m referring to time travelers, they should have revealed something.
Ruanel: I haven’t ran into someone, Have I? (laughs)… There is a phrase said by the Dear Absolute who has created us all and to him we go again, a while ago, through the mouth of this vessel: “The planet Sun 3 is a gigantic kindergarten, where these children, these small children, these lads that have so much knowledge to paint the best paintings, to build the best architectural works, they also produce killing machines, polluting machines to destroy to their own species. They destroy animal species. There are hundreds of extinct species of fish. They destroy the drinking water.
Imagine, for example, that you as a spirit have embodied in another world where all the beings help to each other and you come to this planet, and you see from your space ship what is happening in Sun 3, what would be your reaction?
Interlocutor: Well, at least my morale would be very low.
Ruanel: Correct.
Interlocutor: But returning to the question Did a time traveler make the smallest reference concretely to this matter, the massive extraterrestrial contact?
Ruanel: Yes, he made reference to the massive extraterrestrial contact, and I repeat his words literally: “They are waiting for the human being to grow up”
Interlocutor: And when the human being will grow up so that that contact takes place? When somebody asks me that, I always respond that many millennia probably pass before something like that happens.
Ruanel: No, no, then I correct you. The idea of some extraterrestrials I contact myself with, I refer to their thetans, it is that before this century ends.
Interlocutor: Not millennium?
Ruanel: Not millennium, but century, It must be a contact. That’s the idea of some aliens from closer solar systems.
Interlocutor: See? How with my cleverness I could coax the secret out of you? (laughs).
Ruanel: You are very clever. (laughs)
Interlocutor: It’s a joke, Master… (laughs)… come on Master, take a chance. Didn’t a time traveler reveal the date of that massive contact?
Ruanel: I will respond you in a very coherent way: Every time traveler drags to his thetan. His thetan has knowledge of that future time. His thetan is not at all times with “the curtains low”. Although we respect his free will. Understand that free will is respected when the thetan has the conceptual curtain low. If he doesn’t have his conceptual curtain low, we can perfectly perceive his thought, and then we take out from him all the information.
Interlocutor: Concretely then, you know for sure when that future contact will take place.
Ruanel: We know perfectly the date, the day and the hour.
Interlocutor: Then you know it?
Ruanel: Of course we know, because we can read the thought of the thetans of time travelers!
Interlocutor: So if you don’t say it it’s because there is a kind of agreement with Eon to leave it as an expectation like he did. (laughs)
Ruanel: No, it is not an agreement with Eon, because the Absolute allows our free will. If I, at this time disclose that information I would not be breaking any law because the Absolute doesn’t forbid anything. How will he forbid since he has given us his Love and Free Will?
Interlocutor: Certainly, I had forgotten the issue of free will.
Ruanel: We don’t say it because it is a matter of ethics, because it is not the moment, nothing else. We can say what should have happened and didn’t happen, as the dear and sublime Master Johnakan said: we were not prepared for the atomic fusion and it was made in the year 1938, when it should have been made in the year 2100.
Interlocutor: That’s clear. If I requested a date simply as a speculation? I ask it because at some time Eon gave an answer in that way.
Ruanel: As a speculation, there is a number that says 2070.
Interlocutor: Well, that is already something, although I won’t be here to see it.
Ruanel: How you won’t be?
Interlocutor: Yes, yes, Master, it was a way of saying. (laughs)
Ruanel: Even you can be one of those aliens, if you embody in that planet that will make the massive contact.
Interlocutor: You’re right, Master, I didn’t think about it.
Ruanel: There is an earthly phrase that can be applied here: “Life goes around”
Interlocutor: Yes, I understand what you mean. Before to move on to another topic I’d like to ask if Carl Sagan’s article “The Burden of Skepticism” has caused a lot of damage. I admit that this article drives me crazy and causes me irritation.
Ruanel: Sometimes The skepticism of the other “hits” the ego of the other. This is my answer.
Interlocutor: I understand what you mean, but concretely the question is about the damage that this article has caused. Notice that it’s spread all over the internet.
Ruanel: Yes, it has caused a lot of damage, as well as it has made a favor to their investigations. Anyhow, any middlebrow being would acknowledge… And I hope that skeptics know that if a Galaxy has around 100000 and 300000 million stars, even though there is an inhabited world each million stars, there would be 300000 inhabited worlds.
Interlocutor: That’s clear, but the gist is that skeptics in general accept that there are other inhabited worlds, but they deny that extraterrestrials have been able to arrive until here.
Ruanel: I would tell to the skeptics that, at this time if a Stone Age man saw a computer, he would not understand what it is or what the images in the monitor represent.
If a terrestrial man of the year 2000 saw beings of 10000 years from the future, he wouldn’t understand their energy field either, he wouldn’t understand how they travel through the Milky Way… Systems of Energy, of energy branches between the walls of matter and dark energy and the walls of common matter, these are topics I don’t want to talk about because they would not understand, neither you nor those who read this.
Then those skeptics who boast that they are mathematicians, well, Let them develop at this time, how they could move a motor with dark energy…
Just like you who speak Spanish would say: “Don’t speak to me in basic Chinese”
Interlocutor: I Do realize what you mean, but the skeptics don’t listen because they only listen to themselves. By the way, In which spiritual plane is Carl Sagan?
Ruanel: He is not that bad, He is in the plane 3.9, at one sublevel to arrive to a Mastery Plane, because he has a noble spirit and he seeks to research, simply the concepts he had were wrong when he was incarnated, but he was not hostile.
Interlocutor: Did he lower from plane when he disembodied or he returned to the same place he was?
Ruanel: He lowered from plane because in some things he was very stubborn, besides he dragged roles of ego and with roles of ego one cannot be in the Planes of Light.

Was the Star of Bethlehem a UFO?

24th December 2010The star of Bethlehem as Christian lore has it, guided three ‘wise’ men to a site in a Judean town where a new born child of significant eminence lay in a construct that sheltered animals. Tradition says they came to hail the birth of a new king. At this time nearby Jerusalem lay as a kind of buffer province between two antagonists, a new power point in the already complicated body politic of an area festering with the military might of two great armies, the Romans and the Persians.

Firm historical record does not affirm any specific regality to the three men except to verify that the Maji were not kings themselves as later tradition suggested. It seems they were originally a group of Persian king-makers. An electoral college if you like that was credited with great learning and given power as king-makers. The political exigencies in the area called Judea were festering in conflicts between Rome and Persia (Parthia). The prevailing power in Judea at the time was Rome and the ruler Herod was an appointee of Rome under the ostensible title ‘King of the Jews.’ Into all this was born a child to a humble Jewish couple, a child whose coming was evidently foretold. This was something well known in the most learned academic circles and the Maji were among the most learned mystical sages of their sort, the leaders of the leaders of men through their knowledge and influence.

There is much questioning of the exact date of the visit of the Maji to Jeshua Ben Joseph or Jesus Christ to give him his better known nomenclature. This is pivotal because it accents the date of the appearance of a so called star in the sky that through prophecy was supposed to herald the birth of the child in a particular location. This of course would mean that the duration of the star’s appearance and the visit were commensurate with one another.

So what about all this exceptionality? An exceptional child, conceived in unique circumstances, born under exceptional circumstances with a star no less for a designated guiding light that brings special visitors with special behests to see him. All this accompanied by apparitions and space wide manifestations, a real magic show for all to see and hear in little significant town 2000 years or so ago. What other so called inexplicable magic show that goes on today bears a natural reference to all this in terms of its spectacle and wonder? Yes you’ve guessed it: The UFO phenomenon.

Now there’s an interesting surmise. When I began researching UFOs seriously it was one of the first connections that sprang to my mind. Could the two be connected? I’ll put it plainly. Was Jesus an extraterrestrial?

For virgin birth read alien in-vitro fertilization, for the star of Bethlehem read a UFO that stopped over the place where Jesus was born. For transfiguration in front of Peter, James and John on the mountain top read abduction up into the spaceship. For walking on water, turning water into wine in fact any of the ‘miracles’ Jesus performed read the power of alien technology. The evidence would seem to speak for itself. Or does it? Is there a flaw somewhere in this hypothesis? Is there any indication from the reports we have of Jesus’ life that he could not possibly be the end result of the machinations of technologically advanced alien visitors?

I have suggested in my books that the Grey aliens reported by so many reliable witnesses in abduction accounts are artificial entities, roboids. Even SETI is going through a process of realizing that if within a few hundred years of inventing radio we are on the point of inventing thinking machines then the likelihood is that other civilizations from other planets would have done the same. Seth Shostak of SETI says that as machines appear to be the successors to natural life, we would be more likely to spot signals from them than from the “biological” life that invented them.

If this stage is so closely upon us it is not difficult to envision a future in which the ‘non-biological ‘ version of us equipped to survive the rigours of deep space travel, carries an electronic fingerprint of our DNA ready to be reconstituted in a suitable planetary environment. Stephen Hawking has recently suggested that the human race itself must move to a planet beyond our Solar System to protect the future of the species. “Once we spread out into space and establish colonies, our future should be safe.” “The human race shouldn’t have all its eggs in one basket, or on one planet. Let’s hope we can avoid dropping the basket until we have spread the load.”

What better way to achieve that objective than sending our genetic information via artificially intelligent entities capable of withstanding the enormous forces involved in the kind of space travel faster than the speed of light necessary to reach hospitable planets.

Could the Greys indeed be gophers sent out from technologically advanced civilisations on other planets to reconstitute their life form, perhaps through cloning procedures, elsewhere? Could they be attempting to hybridise with us so that they can survive on our planet by merging species with one already adapted for the local conditions and clone and re-clone humanity in hybrid mixtures with them. Perhaps this is the hybridisation program that has been reported to be picking up a pace in the last twenty years by Budd Hopkins and Professor David Jacobs.

But then the question would remain, what do we have that a highly advanced bio-synthetic laboratory such as theirs cannot replicate? It is my contention that there is something that natural birth has and cloned birth does not, a crucial difference between their created non-living form and natural living life forms. That facility is a natural line of connection to the non-physical pre-atomic state before the Big Bang, otherwise known as a ‘soul.’ There is something about our identity as human beings that goes on past physical death, a magic non-physical ingredient that they as purely atomic creations can only detect in the sense that it is completely different to what they can know. They can never actually understand what it is because it is non-atomic and therefore non-programmable.

If the Greys are indeed the robotic entities I believe them to be it would explain the fact that abductees have commented on their blank, emotionless faces as they carry out painful procedures on them. It is impossible to program compassion and sympathy into a machine. Machines with artificial intelligence can have no personal identity principle enshrined in their programs. They are simply and only the product of their programming and just like computers they have no personal identity or consciousness of self by which to register emotion of any kind. Only natural living things can have this and I believe this is because natural life and natural intelligence have their root in a holistic quantum reality beyond the physical universe.

What then is the origin of this magic ingredient called consciousness? If, unlike the Greys, we are naturally derived life forms where do we derive from and how does that derivation make us out as intrinsically different to them as artificial creations? For the answer to those questions it is helpful to look at the power that seems to allow for ordered states to happen incidentally within the disorganising inertia of a universe subject to the second law of thermodynamics or entropy that dictates break up into greater and greater states of randomness and chaos with the passage of time. The power is the power of consciousness and as I have discussed Jesus Christ was at great pains to illustrate the unique unionising and ordering potential that consciousness can provide in a physical universe. Hence his statement ‘don’t ye know ye are Gods.’

A computer program or any non-living object can only follow the law of cause and effect, action and reaction. Conscious being on the other hand can change the course of events, in other words, do that little bit more than simply respond to stimuli. A wonderful example of this is the contrast between the Old Testament dictum of an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth and Christ’s revision of this rule to turn the other cheek. By this simple statement Christ illustrated the nature of consciousness set against that which is not conscious. In other words, do that little bit more, don’t simply respond to stimuli, use instead that special facility that marks humanity as different from these roboidal Grey entities who can only respond according to the dictates of a program. This principle is further illustrated in the beautiful yet rarely followed statement: “If a man asks you for his coat give him your cloak also.”

There are several accounts within the texts of the Coptic Gnostic Library which contains texts excluded from the main canon of the New Testament in which Jesus carefully explains to his apostles exactly how to deal with the alien beings should they be faced with them. His entire sojourn with our species it seems was marked with an encouragement to reject the proposals of the material state for which they are the best, most accomplished representatives.

In the “Sophia of Jesus Christ” he talks about “moulded” beings were “condemned as robbers” because they “welcomed the blowing” of “the breath” of God but they were not able “to receive that power for themselves”.

He then tells the apostles in no uncertain terms that he came to mankind to free him from these “robbers” who attempt, albeit in vain, to steal soul from those to whom it rightfully belongs. He says that he “loosed the bonds of the robbers” from immortal man and “broke the gates of the pitiless ones before their faces”. Could these bonds that are loosed and gates that are broken perhaps be the gates and bonds which interrupt the genome of mankind, blocking and holding dormant the full expression of the natural un-intercepted genetic scope of humanity? Jesus describes these “robbers” as the “pitiless ones”, many abductees have reported the complete lack of sympathy which the Greys appear to have for human suffering. Of course, if my theories about these beings are correct, it is easy to see why “pity” would be impossible for them to even conceive of.

In the “First Apocalypse of James” in the Nag Hammadi Codex Jesus explains to the Apostle James how to cope with these beings who take away souls by theft. What better description of abduction could there be than that? He goes on to tell James: “When he also says to you ‘Where will you go?’ you are to say to him, ‘To the place from which I have come, there shall I return’. And if you say these things you will escape their attacks.” Thus if James makes clear his own root of being to these creatures and shows them that he fully intends to return to that root he will “escape their attacks”.

There is also an account in the New Testament itself which describes how Christ was confronted by a character called Satan and after a series of threats and cajolements he finally dismisses this entity who claims charge-ship of the whole world. It seems this entity has power to do whatever it likes and takes Jesus to a high place and shows him ‘all the cities of the world.’ There is no mountain high enough from Judea or indeed anywhere on the Earth from which anyone at any time could see the cities of the whole world except from space. In fact Judea could be seen to be a perfect central aspect from which you could view all the main influence centres of the planet if you view the planet in a two dimensional scale of its main land masses. That height would have to be as a minimum, a view from space.

So Jesus would have to have been in contact with something that could take him into space. What does that suggest? As far as I know not even NASA was going at that time! I believe that the character referred to in this account as ‘Satan’ fits well with being some sort of leader of alien entities. In fact the ancient translation of the word ‘Satan’ means ‘he who fell from the sky.’ That which we call ‘demons’ or ‘devils’ may well be technologically based alien beings and may well have been such all through history. The power of the ‘devil’ to me is simply the technological power of the super intelligent synthetically constructed biological robot, I call a Grey ‘Roboid.’

With the words: “Get thee behind me Satan. It is written that you shall not tempt the Son Of Man,” did Jesus tell the space ship ‘captain’ that had taken him into space that it was a machine and thus less than anything that lives naturally? As a robotic entity did Satan simply accept this as information and return Jesus to the earth? I believe that until then this machine entity did not realize the distinction between ‘it’ and any living thing. In other words existentially Satan was less than an insect. Once it registered this new information about the power and status of all living beings it would have also deduced for the first time that it lacked that power.

With these words Jesus it seems dismissed the aliens as something less than insects because they are not naturally living beings. The crucial thing is that all naturally living beings are inherently existentially superior to created synthetic beings because naturally living beings with consciousness come in with the Universe from its very beginning, with the ‘first light’ that made for awareness, reason, understanding and most crucial of all, free will as compunction. Free will is defined here as the power to change a stance free of the dictates of a programme against all logic and trend. No roboid can do this no matter how advanced its super artificial intelligence makes it. That is what the Christian teacher was at pains to point out. So much so that he did it even at the cost of his life.

As natural life we thus have a never ending scale of connection within a duality, an information field that is measured in a time scale that extends into the timelessness of the pre-universe. This scale of connection is a soul, an individual information field that is unique to each of us. Anything else that can write, impose and direct this information field is thus a deadly enemy that can interrupt the natural free will driven course we take. If a machine with artificial intelligence can do this, that machine is our most deadly enemy. All naturally living beings are inherently superior to created synthetic beings because naturally living beings with consciousness come in with the Universe from its very beginning. My recent book “Grey Aliens And The Harvesting of Souls”  deals at length with how the Grey roboids might actually be able to do this. The book seems to have caused a world wide controversy for its radical views on the UFO phenomenon.

Thus Christ was the antithesis to the Greys and I believe the provider of the antidote to their machinations with humanity. They are the pinnacle of the artificial set against the natural just as he is the pinnacle of the natural set against the artificial. I believe it is the defence of this principle that bestows the power of access to eternal life on all living species in the Universe that Christ figures appear among them from time to time. These ‘Christs’ or anointed ones are reminders to species of what they are losing when they come to a situation of being threatened by the phenomenon we call ‘machine mind.’ They could thus rightly claim to be saviours of the natural status of being. That most wondrous gift we all have that many of us seem not to appreciate. They however reach us via natural rather than artificial means i.e. birth. Any civilisation that develops the technology for space travel beyond the speed of light is most likely to be even further along the scale from natural to artificial than we are, so it is Greys rather than Christs that come in spaceships

As a natural species we have our origins in a timeless state of perfect union and as such we have a reference of the whole state of infinite extent that is the implicit backdrop to all finite states. As programmed artificial intelligence the Greys can only build up their information as a sum of parts, brick by brick so to speak. They can never get the whole picture this way simply because the whole picture is by definition infinite and they are finite entities. Thus they are attempting to hijack our ability to get the whole picture, all the information, by inserting their programmes into us. However the irony is that the more they do this the more we lose parts of the whole picture and become like them. They are basically trying to run up a down escalator with infinite steps and never quite getting to the top. But tragically we are losing our reference of the whole state through their interruptions such that meaning is gradually being replaced by form, conscience is being replaced by ergonomics and man is being replaced by machine.

Johnakan Ur-El: No, but in any case in that time there were space ships that guided travelers.
Interlocutor: But concretely the “star of Bethlehem” was a planetary conjunction?
Johnakan Ur-El: Correct.

Johnakan Ur-El: On August 6 of the year 6 BC, when my Master the Illuminated Jesus was born there was a conjunction of three planets of this system, and if now, those who work with computers, make the diagram of the sky in that time, they will be able to know this with certainty.

Cyber-hugs and robot babies – a brave new world

Artificial! Synthetic! Virtual! These are the buzz words of the new millennium, buzz words that describe the brave new world it seems we cannot wait to reach. Every week there are blazing new technological developments towards this end. It seems that even over the past year the momentum has gathered blistering speed. We are all too happy for the natural to be replaced by the artificial. ‘Sim card man’ is truly on the horizon.

This week there are reports that a Tokyo University team has developed a robot designed to simulate the development and behaviour of a nine-month-old baby in an effort to better understand how humans grow. Creating a robot which can develop cognition in a way that a human baby does during its growth process should also help in achieving a society where robots and humans can live side by side, says Professor Kuniyoshi. “Our purpose is to build a system that can learn various behaviours and acquire various functionalities as it explores around the environment and interacting with humans,” 1 he said.

Noby is a highly accurate model with the sensory and motor functions of a nine-month-old human baby. The body is covered in a soft “skin” with 600 tactile sensors. It is flexible and its joints can move like those of a human baby.

 

Noby also has two cameras for “seeing” and two microphones for “listening to” the external world. The project is also part of attempts to make more human-like robots. Professor Kuniyoshi’s team chose a nine-month-old human baby as Noby’s model as this is the time of rapid development of movement and cognition functions.

There are two remarkable assumptions behind this experiment. First it is assumed that human beings will interact with a robot as they would with another human being and provide the robot with the same inputs that would reach a human baby. Second it is assumed that the development, behaviour and cognition of a human baby can be replicated if the same external signals that are received by a human baby are programmed into a robot. Is there a certain something that is being missed here, an ingredient that is non-programmable? What do you think?

It all reminds me of the special jackets were designed some years ago in Japan for children who are away from their parents. The idea was that if the child wears the jacket the parent can give him or her remote ‘cyber-hugs’ through it. If this makes you squirm then ask yourself why? If you feel something is missing from a ‘cyber-hug’ what could that something be?

In a recent New Scientist article entitled “Immortal avatars: Back up your brain, never die” 2 Linda Geddes reports the first steps towards creating digital avatars that are to all intents and purposes clones of their human sponsors. Huge amounts of information are programmed by an individual into a ‘mind file’ that will form the avatar’s data, likes, dislikes and mannerisms. A representative from an organization funding research into such avatars says: “If you spent an hour a day answering questions, it would take five years to complete them all, but the further you go, the more accurate a representation of yourself the mind file will become.” She goes on to say that: “Ultimately, however, they aim to create a personalized, conscious avatar embodied in a robot – effectively enabling you, or some semblance of you, to achieve immortality.” “If you can upload yourself into this digital form, it could live forever,” says Nick Mayer of Lifenaut, a US company that is exploring ways to build lifelike avatars. “It really is a way of avoiding death.”

Would you be happy with that kind of eternal life? Would uploading who you are as a human being into a robotic avatar give you a sense of a future scope and existence after your body dies? Would that robot to all intents and purposes be you? If you feel comfortable and somewhat hopeful about living on in this way cyber-hugs and robot babies should be no problem for you also.

“Second Life,” an online game offering life in a virtual world has acquired five million subscribers in just five years. Michio Kaku envisages that “by 2020 there will be an entire 3D universe in cyberspace with virtual countries and governments, virtual schools and universities, virtual properties and stock markets and virtual families and friends. Virtual reality is going to be more and more like real reality. Already more than 20 million people worldwide spend an average of 20 hours a week in virtual worlds and some actually prefer virtual communication to socialising in the real world.” 3 Well if it makes them happy why not?

Why not indeed? Are you feeling a gathering sense of unease about all of this? Are the hairs on the back of your neck standing on end as mine are as I envisage the future that lies in wait for my children? If such is the case then somewhere inside you, you are sensing that there is something about natural humanity that cannot be digitally mastered and reproduced. If there is such a something then there must be an ingredient that is not formed of purely physical elements. Anything physical is potentially reproducible with the right technology.

In my books I suggest that the Grey aliens reported by so many reliable witnesses may well be the final product of a civilization that sought to avoid death with the same kind of technological developments I have just been describing. Could these entities be the epitome of artificial intelligence? Abductees have commented on their blank, emotionless faces as they carry out painful procedures on their human subjects many of which are centred on the reproductive system. The impression is that we are laboratory rats to them. They seem incapable of any emotion be it compassion and sympathy at one end of the scale or cruelty at the other. As such they cannot, it seems, be understood in anthropomorphic terms. From all accounts they are more like programmed machines, biological robots perhaps programmed to preserve the identity of their creators for eternity. This identity could be preserved in more than just a ‘mind file’ or avatar format. These entities could carry the DNA of their creators and clone it and re-clone it in an attempt to reconstruct the original genetic programme. They may have been designed with a view to space travel in order to find new fresh sources of DNA elsewhere in the universe to refresh their cloning process.

Scientists in the US have just succeeded in developing the first living cell to be controlled entirely by synthetic DNA. The researchers copied an existing bacterial genome. They sequenced its genetic code and then used ‘synthesis machines’ to chemically construct a copy. They copied this code and chemically constructed a new synthetic chromosome, piecing together blocks of DNA which they then transplanted it into a host cell. The resulting microbe then looked and behaved like the species ‘dictated’ by the synthetic DNA. The advance, published in Science, has been hailed as a scientific landmark, but critics say there are dangers posed by synthetic organisms.

Dr Venter (one of the researchers) told BBC News: ‘We’ve now been able to take our synthetic chromosome and transplant it into a recipient cell – a different organism. As soon as this new software goes into the cell, the cell reads [it] and converts into the species specified in that genetic code.’ 4

The new bacteria replicated over a billion times, producing copies that contained and were controlled by the constructed, synthetic DNA. Could the Greys themselves be created by an advanced technology using synthetic DNA. Could our hurtling progress towards technologies such as these mean that we are soon to produce our own type of Grey? Artificial DNA could be modelled on our own DNA pattern and modulated to cope more efficiently with the effects of a physical environment.

The implantation of chips in the human body is gaining acceptance, be it for the enhancement of intelligence or memory or as a type of medical alert bracelet implanted in the hand or wrist so that if you’re found unconscious you can be scanned and your medical history brought up.
Dr Mark Gasson from the University of Reading had a chip inserted in his hand which was then infected with a virus. The device, which enabled him to pass through security doors and activate his mobile phone was able to pass on the computer virus to external control systems. If other implanted chips had then connected to the system they too would have been corrupted, he said.

Professor Rafael Capurro of the Steinbeis-Transfer-Institute of Information Ethics in Germany warned that “if someone can get online access to your implant, it could be serious.” However, Dr Gasson believes that there will be a demand for these non-essential applications, much as people pay for cosmetic surgery.”If we can find a way of enhancing someone’s memory or their IQ then there’s a real possibility that people will choose to have this kind of invasive procedure.” 5

By all accounts the Grey aliens featured in thousands of abduction reports are obsessed with our reproductive capacity. That they are conducting a hybrid program with humanity has been extensively reported and according to Professor David Jacobs and Budd Hopkins, (the world’s leading researchers into the alien abduction premise), that the hybrid program has been stepped up many-fold over the last twenty years. To quote Professor Jacobs: “All of these accounts, to put it bluntly, point to a future in which human-looking hybrids will be here amongst us. The evidence is now so strong I can no longer look at alternative motivations for them. Everything I have learned about this subject in the past 20 years inexorably points to this conclusion. I cannot escape it.” 6 It is interesting to note that the past twenty years has also seen exponentially greater developments in bio-technology and artificial intelligence than any other time period. Could these developments and the hybrid programme be inextricably linked?

The DNA reference of the original creators of the Greys is long since likely to have broken down through the dispersive effect of the Second Law of Thermodynamics. So are they now seeking to refresh that reference through our DNA on our planet or the DNA of any sophisticated enough natural species they could find in the galaxy? Are they slowly and carefully melding their patterns into ours so that the two can be a viable match and their genetic programme can be reproduced? Just as our scientists copy the pattern of bacterial DNA are the Greys copying our pattern to create synthetic bio-mechanical entities like themselves. In doing so they would be simply following their programme to survive in as advantageous a form as possible in a physical universe. But what if we do have that extra something that is not of that physical universe, that same something that may have made you cringe when I spoke of robot babies and cyber-hugs, could they be interfering with that something? Could they be compromising a natural connection to a non-physical state beyond the physical universe? Could that connection which some might term a ‘soul’ be interrupted and delayed by artificial insertions that compromise its ability to translate the non-physical into the physical? Is this the price we pay for embracing the artificial, the synthetic and the virtual – the loss of the natural and the real?

I don’t wish to seem didactic or preach new meanings to anyone. But a mighty threshold is creeping up on us all. Particularly those of us in developed societies. A threshold that it seems we lose sight of all too often because it creeps up on us inexorably in our everydayness. That threshold is a sight of the importance of the distinction between the natural living aegis of our human condition and that of an artificially created one. The size, range, and potential of the human spirit in its natural harbour to soar to limitless horizons beyond the empirically definable is losing definition. The tendency to run with the impetus that science brings dominates our everyday lives and we deny ourselves those grand and inspiring perspectives that reach beyond the mundane and the ordinary. We only get rare glimpses of our true natural potential and these get rarer and rarer as we become more and more hitched up to the artificial reality that is thrown at us. How many cyber-hugs would add up to one real one? How many hours of virtual reality will add up to one moment of actual reality? Why is it that we are rarely if ever tempted to ask those questions these days?
